Painted Pallets

I've been recycling a load of old pallets that have been stashed at the end of the garden for the past year. 

So after a bit of sawing and sanding these old bits of wood have been transformed into pretty wall plaques which I will be selling at Pedlars at the Quay next weekend on the Isle of Wight!

Now, that's two plaques down, only two and a half pallets worth of wood to get through.........this could take some time!

Finished Bird Boxes

I've finally got round to posting these!

The finished bird boxes with branded illustrations.  The faces can be removed to encourage larger birds to nest and the illustrations wont fade due to weathering as the illustrations have been hand branded with a special soldering tool thingy I got.

Bootiful Bird Boxes

I'm itching to get started on my bird boxes! Sadly I have to wait til the weekend when i'm free from the bore of the 9-5 (have to pay the bills somehow!) and can give them my full attention.

I've got big plans to paint up these beauties (I have a whole stash of them) and transform them into designer homes for any pretty birdy who fancies moving in this spring :)

Again, these will be sold at fairs or on my website.....

Crafty Critters

As well as drawing pictures I also love getting tactile with all sorts of materials and have been working on various little critters for a craft fair I'm exhibiting in on the Isle of wight in a few weeks time. 

Unfortunately my housemate is having to cope with a living room that's starting to resemble a jumble sale after a bomb has gone off with all my activities but soon enough all the bits and bobs will be lovingly assembled into various creatures and wonderful things!

Keep posted to hear about dates etc.....and if you cant make it to the fair, most things will be available to buy online!!

Shmalentines Day.....(puke)

Get the sick bag ready, in case you haven't noticed all the pink shit everywhere, its almost that time of year again......valentines day (uueeerrrggghhh)

What a load of bollocks.  I hate it. Cant bear it.

People seem to use it as a license to offend my eyes with their PDA causing my face and body to fall into a cringe induced spasm.  Company's use it to subject us to 3 weeks of fluffy pink crap branded with hearts and shiz lining the shelves and window displays (i hate pink), whilst restaurants use it as an excuse to triple their prices.

So, here is my alternative.

And no, im not a woman scorned.
